Job Summary
The Junior/Trainee Auditor will support Crowe Afghanistan’s audit teams in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements. The position is designed to build technical and professional skills in auditing while contributing to high-quality client service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Under supervision of senior audit staff, the Junior/Trainee Auditor will:
Planning & Preparation
Assist in collecting background information on clients and industries.
Help prepare audit working papers in accordance with Crowe’s audit methodology.
Fieldwork Execution
Perform assigned audit procedures, including vouching, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and physical verification of assets.
Document audit evidence clearly and accurately in line with ISAs and Crowe standards.
Compliance
Follow Crowe Afghanistan’s quality control procedures and professional ethics requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information.
Communication & Coordination
Report progress and findings to the assigned Audit Supervisor or Senior Auditor.
Assist in coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information.
Professional Development
Attend and actively participate in training programs.
Take initiative to enhance technical knowledge and understanding of auditing concepts.
Job Requirements
Education & Professional Studies:
FIA/ACCA student or equivalent relevant qualification.
A Tax Accounting Certificate will be considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of accounting, auditing, and tax principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
Languages:
Proficiency in English, Dari/Pashto.

Duration of Assignment
The appointment will initially be for a probationary period of 3 months, with possible extension or confirmation based on performance evaluation.

Adherence to Crowe’s methodology and standards.

Confidentiality
The Junior/Trainee Auditor must adhere to Crowe’s confidentiality policy, ensuring that all client and firm information is safeguarded at all times. Breach of confidentiality will lead to disciplinary action as per firm policy.
