Job Description:

Responsible for collecting required logistic related documentation for office.

Stock movements, coordinating between the despatcher and receiver, to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Responsible for the logistic of all quality goods and supplies from local markets.

Ensure proper coordination with program departments for the effective implementation of projects.

Fleet management: overseeing and maintaining the transport management system, including vehicle movement planning, transport report, etc. and scheduling maintenance/repairs in coordination with finance.

Implement purchases for coordination and the bases while respecting the rules and approval procedures established by donors and TLO.

Ensure that products purchased correspond to the requirements of the requestor’s requirements in terms of quantity and quality.

Maintain stock database and stock release order for every item in the stock and report the monthly reconciliation of stock to office manager.

Establishing vehicle movement schedules in TLO Office.

Develop logistic plans for current operations contingency plans.

Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistic operations efficiently.

Manage all logistic operations including all procured assets in order to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Receives all goods delivered to the site and ensures goods are received in the correct quantity and in good condition.

Provides weekly reports to the related supervisor of all logistic activities.

Keep track of purchase orders and requisitions and to follow up the logistic policies of TLO and donor's regulations.

Prepare bid summaries and translation of bills.

Keeping Asset/inventory list update

Ability to cope with stressful situations and work with limited resources.

Job Requirements:

Three years or more of direct experience working in Logistics with a recognized NGO

Experience in warehouse management, and all documents and paperwork related to this.

Experience in fleet management and maintenance.

Experience in facilities management, monitoring generator maintenance schedules etc.

Motivated and flexible, hardworking individual.

Flexible and able to travel around Different Zones/Afghanistan to visit field offices, and other logistics related issues.

Skilled in computer use and MS office suite.

Strong organizational skills and attention to details

Excellent oral and written English

Integrity, Team player, Collaboration, Proactive problem solving.
